Wando-gun Selected as 'Best Institution' in Comprehensive Information Disclosure Evaluation

High Evaluation in the Areas of Pre-Information and Claim Processing

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Kyung-pil] Wando County, Jeonnam (Governor Shin Woo-cheol) announced on the 21st that it was selected as the Best Institution in the '2020 Comprehensive Information Disclosure Evaluation' hosted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.

This comprehensive information disclosure evaluation assessed the level of public institution information disclosure in four areas: prior information, original document disclosure, request processing, and customer management, targeting central administrative agencies, local governments, and other public institutions in 2019 and 2020.

Wando County received high evaluations in the prior information field, such as the number of prior information disclosure registrations and information list disclosure rate, and in the request processing field, such as conformity to detailed non-disclosure criteria and appropriateness of request processing. Following the 'Excellent' rating in 2019, it received the 'Best' rating in 2020.

Governor Shin Woo-cheol said, "We will continue to inspect and improve any shortcomings to provide high-quality information to satisfy the residents' right to know and strive to become a transparent and trusted institution."
