Wuyang Unveils Online IR via KTB Securities YouTube 'SmallSmallHae'

[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] Wooyang, a company specializing in Home Meal Replacement (HMR), announced on the 21st that it will release an online Investor Relations (IR) presentation through 'SmallSmallHae,' the official YouTube channel of KTB Investment & Securities Small Cap.

This non-face-to-face IR was conducted through a proposal from the IR consulting firm IPR Square. The KTB Investment & Securities Small Cap team carefully considered business content, financial status, and growth potential before finally selecting Wooyang.

Wooyang's Chief Financial Officer, Executive Director Kyunghoon Park, personally participated in the IR interview. A factory tour was also disclosed. Executive Director Park stated, "Continuous expansion of the HMR market is expected," adding, "Wooyang, which is actively pursuing entry into not only major domestic companies but also the global market, will continue to benefit."

Furthermore, strong performance is expected to continue this year as well, following last year. To meet the demand for domestic frozen hot dogs, which has grown to around 100 billion KRW, and the steadily increasing volume of overseas exports, a new factory has been expanded. Wooyang plans to actively target not only the HMR business but also the meal kit market, which is worth approximately 200 billion KRW.

Researcher Jaeyoon Kim of KTB Investment & Securities said, "Wooyang is a representative company in the HMR industry with various growth points such as new factory expansion and securing overseas clients," adding, "The growth this year, reflecting the effects of the expansion, is particularly noteworthy."

Executive Director Park said, "The HMR business is expected to grow steadily this year as well, and the meal kit new business is also in the preparation stage," adding, "Our company will explore various measures to enhance shareholder value and reassess corporate value."
