[Asia Economy New York=Special Correspondent Baek Jong-min] President-elect Joe Biden attended Mass at a church with leaders from both parties on the 20th (local time).
On that day, President-elect Biden left Blair House, his residence after President Donald Trump left the White House, around 8:45 a.m. and headed to the nearby St. Matthew's Church.
The Mass was attended by the president-elect and his spouse, Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, and Republican Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and his spouse.
After the Mass, President-elect Biden will attend the inauguration ceremony, take the oath of office at noon, and be sworn in as the 46th President of the United States.
