[Asia Economy Reporter Dongwoo Lee] Jeju Air announced on the 20th that the reservation for the ‘JJiM Airfare,’ a super-discounted airfare regular sale held twice a year, will begin at 3 PM on the 3rd of next month (Korean Standard Time). The event will run until 5 PM on the 10th of the same month.
In this promotion, Jeju Air’s VIP, Gold, and Silver Plus members, who are its valued customers, as well as customers who purchase the paid membership 'J PASS,' will receive priority booking benefits. From 10 AM on the 3rd, the day of the promotion, reservations for JJiM airfares will be available.
JJiM airfares can be used for domestic flights from April 1 to September 30 based on the boarding date, and for international flights from June 1 to September 30. Considering customers who find it difficult to plan overseas travel schedules, one-time international flight schedule changes and cancellation fees will be waived until May 31.
The lowest fare for JJiM airfares starts from 8,100 KRW for domestic flights and from 36,000 KRW for international flights, based on one-way total fare (including fuel surcharge and taxes). Reservations can be made through the Jeju Air website, mobile app, and web.
However, fuel surcharges and overseas airport facility usage fees may vary depending on the ticket issuance date and exchange rates, and it should be noted that discounted event airfares do not include free checked baggage service.
Jeju Air will also hold a pre-event via mobile starting at 12 PM on January 20 to celebrate the 2021 JJiM promotion.
By searching ‘Jeju Air MTBI’ on Naver Mobile, customers can access Jeju Air’s travel tendency test page and participate in an event that helps find a ‘travel alter ego’ similar to their travel tendencies.
Customers who complete the JJiM MBTI will receive 1,000 Jeju Air Refresh Points, and by adding Jeju Air as a Kakao Plus friend, they can receive discount coupons worth up to 3,000 KRW. The Jeju Air JJiM MBTI test can be easily accessed through Naver Mobile search or Jeju Air’s SNS channels.
Additionally, an event is being held where 10 customers who leave comments on the YouTube ‘JJiM promotional video’ will be given round-trip domestic flight tickets.
