Seoul Gangseo-gu Delivers Support to Local Social Welfare Facilities for COVID-19 Vulnerable Groups
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Gangseo-gu, Seoul (District Mayor Noh Hyun-song) received a donation of 100,000 Airdays masks worth 25 million KRW from Daewoo Industrial Development (CEO Han Jae-jun) on the 18th.
The district plans to distribute the donated masks to social welfare facilities such as senior welfare centers and social welfare centers to strengthen support for groups vulnerable to COVID-19 infection.
The Airdays mask, widely known as the so-called actor Jo Jung-suk mask, is a mask brand produced by DW Bio, an affiliate of Daewoo Industrial Development.
It is known to be comfortable to breathe as it secures a distance of about 3.5 cm between the mouth and the mask.
District Mayor Noh Hyun-song said, “We deeply appreciate Daewoo Industrial Development for extending a helping hand to prevent COVID-19,” and added, “As mask-wearing has become routine these days, we will ensure that the masks you provided are delivered well to those in need.”
