Multiple COVID-19 Cases Reported in Yeongam... 8 Linked to a Temple

According to Jeollanam-do and Yeongam-gun on the 15th, 8 additional COVID-19 cases were confirmed, newly registered as Jeollanam-do cases 634 to 641. This is the 21st confirmed case in Yeongam.

Following the confirmation of COVID-19 in two monks and one believer at a temple in Dopomyeon, Yeongam-gun the previous day, a full investigation focusing on contacts was conducted.

It was reported that the 370th confirmed case from Geumcheon-gu, Seoul stayed at the temple from the 29th of last month until the 11th of this month, during which they prayed.

Currently, health authorities are continuing diagnostic testing focusing on the temple, nearby villages, and contacts.
