Lotte Hotel Seoul Offers Strawberry Buffet Takeout

[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Min-young] Amid the popularity of hotel untact (contactless) products, a product that allows you to enjoy the winter delicacy strawberry buffet at home has been released.
Lotte Hotel Seoul announced on the 13th that it will offer strawberry buffet and afternoon tea sets as takeout products until May 5.
A Lotte Hotel official said, "Drive-thru product sales in December increased more than fourfold compared to November, showing the popularity of untact products," and added, "We launched takeout products so that customers can easily enjoy the strawberry buffet of a luxury hotel at home."
The strawberry dessert buffet takeout product consists of nine of the most popular dessert items from the existing buffet menu, including strawberry egg tarts and vanilla mille-feuille topped with strawberry madeleines. The product can be picked up at the Peninsula Lounge & Bar on the 1st floor at 1 PM or 3 PM on weekends, priced at 33,000 KRW per box. Discounts are available for online reservations through the official Lotte Hotel website and Naver reservation. This price is 47.6% cheaper compared to the existing buffet price of 63,000 KRW per adult.
The strawberry afternoon tea set takeout product includes all 14 items from the existing tea set menu. It features strawberry dacquoise, strawberry jelly, Mont Blanc, sandwiches, and more, allowing customers to enjoy an elegant tea time at home. Notably, in collaboration with the luxury vegan beauty brand ‘Chantecaille,’ if customers share a certified photo with a hashtag on social networking services (SNS), a donation will be made to animal protection organizations. The product can be picked up at the Peninsula Lounge & Bar on the 1st floor at 1 PM, 3 PM, or 6 PM on weekdays, priced at 49,500 KRW. This is a 28.3% discount compared to the existing price of 69,000 KRW for two people.
Meanwhile, Lotte Hotel Seoul’s Peninsula Lounge & Bar will continue to hold ‘2021 Must Be Strawberry: Wild Future’ until May 5. The strawberry dessert buffet operates in two sessions every weekend, priced at 63,000 KRW per adult. The strawberry afternoon tea set is available daily, priced at 69,000 KRW for two people.
