The SBS show "Same Bed, Different Dreams Season 2 - You Are My Destiny," aired on the 11th, was presented as a "New Year's Homecoming Special." On this episode, the couple Raimer and Ahn Hyun-mo appeared, revealing their daily life in their fifth year of marriage.
When broadcaster Kim Sook said, "Rumor has it that Raimer showed a completely different appearance compared to a year and a half ago, which caused the production team to be in a state of shock," Ahn Hyun-mo responded, "He hasn't changed that much," adding, "I think many people heard rumors that he changed about 180 degrees, but it was more like 30 degrees."
She continued, "We have been married for five years now, and we are already exhausted with each other. We've given up as much as we could," saying, "Especially my husband has given up a lot. He realized that things can't always go his way."
She also shared, "Sometimes I really act the way I do. I am so surprised and realize that I made that person like that."
During the episode, while Ahn Hyun-mo was having a meal with an apple, she received a call from Raimer. His voice, mixed with a cute tone unlike before, surprised everyone.
Ahn Hyun-mo surprised Raimer when he returned home from work and naturally showed affection.
Raimer, who had previously troubled Ahn Hyun-mo with constant late-night snack temptations, created tension again by saying he wanted to eat jjambbong as a late-night snack.
The next day, since Ahn Hyun-mo had an important schedule and couldn't eat late-night snacks, she expressed frustration, saying, "Is there anything to regret after eating this?" In the past, Raimer had also suggested eating kimchi jjim together at 2 a.m., which led to arguments.
Raimer made poke for Ahn Hyun-mo after finishing the jjambbong. Ahn Hyun-mo was so touched by the food Raimer prepared that she couldn't stop praising it.
Raimer explained, "I was so happy just having my wife that I did things I used to do when I lived alone," adding, "Then I thought about it and realized that since we are married, I need to abandon my solo patterns and create patterns together. Thinking that I might not be able to live like this, I decided to change."
Ahn Hyun-mo said, "I told him 100 times and it didn't work, but when I told him the 101st time, he understood," adding, "I didn't give up and kept communicating in various ways."
