Hyundai Marine & Fire Insurance Surpasses 4 Million Subscriptions for Good & Good Children's Comprehensive Insurance Hyundai Marine & Fire Insurance announced on the 11th that its child-exclusive insurance product, 'Good & Good Children's Comprehensive Insurance Q,' has surpassed 4 million cumulative sales.

[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Hyung-gil] Hyundai Marine & Fire Insurance announced on the 11th that its children-only insurance product, 'Good&Good Children's Comprehensive Insurance Q,' has surpassed 4 million cumulative sales.

Launched in July 2004 as the industry's first children-only comprehensive insurance, it has sold 4 million policies (237 billion KRW) over 16 years, setting the industry's longest and highest sales record. Among the 303,100 newborns in 2019, Hyundai Marine & Fire Insurance's Good&Good Children's Comprehensive Insurance recorded 153,556 subscriptions, meaning 1 in 2 newborns was insured.

This product comprehensively covers risks throughout a child's life cycle, including high-cost treatments for multiple pediatric cancers, eight major disabilities, benign brain tumors, as well as family daily life liability, vision correction, rhinitis, and atopy.

Last year, it became the first in the industry to establish exclusive rights by newly including coverage for congenital anomalies, which were previously excluded in children's insurance, as well as epidemic infectious diseases vulnerable to infants and toddlers such as hand, foot, and mouth disease and chickenpox; growth plate injury fractures and pneumothorax that can occur during growth; and diagnosis coverage for antepartum and postpartum hemorrhage transfusions for pregnant women.

Additionally, it provides total child healthcare services including health and childcare consultations, hospital guidance and reservation services, screening guidance and reservation services, as well as fever management guidelines based on the child's temperature information, and real-time information on regional fever status and epidemic disease trends.
