Daegu Metropolitan Office of Education to Open 8 New Schools for New Semester... "Ready for Opening"

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Dong-wook] The Daegu Metropolitan Office of Education announced on the 5th that it held an inspection meeting on the preparation status for the opening of eight new schools scheduled to open in March, chaired by Superintendent Kang Eun-hee.

The schools opening in March are ▲ Palgong Kindergarten, Palgong Elementary School, Palgong Middle School in Yeonggyeong District, Jimyo-dong, Dong-gu ▲ Yeonggyeong Kindergarten, Yeonggyeong Elementary School in Yeonggyeong District, Yeonggyeong-dong, Buk-gu ▲ Daegu International High School in Donam District, Gugu-dong, Buk-gu ▲ Daegu Technical High School Technopolis Campus in Dalseong-gun ▲ Daegu Yearam School in Dalseong-gun.

To prepare for the opening, last year the principals and administrative directors were preemptively appointed as opening preparation staff to complete the preparation procedures for facilities and overall operations. Relevant departments have received preliminary opinions on improvements for each school and are reflecting them in the school facility reinforcement construction.

A Daegu Metropolitan Office of Education official stated, "We will thoroughly carry out construction and related tasks during the remaining period by inspecting the progress of opening tasks for each school weekly until the opening to ensure there are no setbacks."
