[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bong-ju] Singer Park Bom shared the joyful news that she has successfully lost weight.
On the 4th, Park Bom posted on her SNS photos showing her changed appearance after losing 11kg, along with pictures from before her weight loss.
In a follow-up SNS post, Park Bom said, "This was me at last year's Daejong Film Awards," adding, "I was shocked and went on a diet, losing 11kg from 70kg to 59kg."
She said, "It was really hard to diet because of the medication I take for ADD (attention deficit disorder), but I feel so good after losing the weight," and added, "After losing weight, I have reduced my medication a lot and am becoming healthier."
She continued, "I really won’t go back to that appearance! Please look forward to my comeback!" and added hashtags "#Diet #ThankYou #11kgWeightLoss #PreparingForComeback".
ADD, which Park Bom suffers from, is attention deficit disorder caused by neurological factors, characterized by very short attention spans and easily distracted behavior, which can interfere with school and home life. It shows symptoms similar to ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder).
On the same day, Big Bom posted another message saying, "Finally preparing for a comeback! Please wait just a little longer. Practicing in the recording studio today as well," along with a video showing her practicing in the studio.
Fans are pouring out support for Park Bom’s successful diet after she shocked many by appearing suddenly heavier at last year’s Daejong Film Awards ceremony.
Netizens left encouraging messages on Park Bom’s post such as "Noona, you worked hard," "You look amazing. Hope you recover your health soon," and "You’re beautiful."
