[New Year's Message] Choi Sin-won, Chairman of SK Networks, "Pursuing Happiness of Customers and Members through Business Model Innovation"

[Asia Economy Reporter Suyeon Woo] Choi Sae-jin, Chairman of SK Networks, emphasized in his New Year's address on the 4th, "Let's create happiness stories for customers and members through business model (BM) innovation."

Chairman Choi stated, "We must concretize the BM innovation that has been pursued since last year and strengthen communication with the financial market and customers to enhance the company's real value." He called for improving the business structure by achieving a higher level of growth for SK Magic, evolving the mobility business of SK Rent-a-Car, and expanding existing businesses such as Mintit and Tire Pick.

Furthermore, Chairman Choi urged efforts to create social value alongside strengthening the business model. He said, "We should not limit the resources for creating social value but decide how much to invest," adding, "Our BM should also be boldly changed according to the creation of social value."

He also emphasized the need to develop members' capabilities in new technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) and digital transformation, and encouraged building a more customer-oriented and horizontal corporate culture. Chairman Choi said, "From March this year, SK Networks, SK Magic, and SK Rent-a-Car will all work in the same space," and added, "I ask for exchanges and communication so that collaboration can be strengthened and greater synergy can be created."

Finally, Chairman Choi mentioned pursuing corporate activities for the happiness of all members. He conveyed the message, "The happiness we pursue is 'the happiness as a sustainable community for all of us,'" and said, "Let's greet each other with bright faces, encourage one another, and start this year together."
