Jeju Air Launches 'Wedding Pass' for Newlyweds in the COVID Era

[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Je-hoon] Jeju Air announced on the 4th that it has launched the 'Wedding Pass' airfare targeting newlyweds and engaged couples who are having difficulties preparing for their honeymoons due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Wedding Pass airfare offered by Jeju Air is priced at 296,000 KRW for a round trip for two adults.

Jeju Air's Wedding Pass is an airfare for two adults that can be used for one round trip on one domestic route from February to July. It includes additional services such as use during peak seasons, advance seat selection, priority boarding, 20kg checked baggage, and free itinerary change fees.

The Wedding Pass airfare will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis for 1,000 passes (2,000 people) from 3 PM today until the 24th through Jeju Air's website and mobile web/app. After submitting the purchase application and payment, customers will receive a notification email or text message about the Wedding Pass purchase, and then they can select their desired itinerary through the customer center.

However, the Wedding Pass only includes the airfare; fuel surcharges and other taxes must be borne by the customer. Full refunds are available upon request until February 28, and refund fees may apply after March.

In addition, Jeju Air offers a suite room upgrade benefit for Wedding Pass purchasers who book the 'Romantic Honeymoon Package' at Haevichi Hotel & Resort Jeju, and provides a special Jeju Air honeymoon package when staying at Jeju Sono Calm or Sono Belle. Other benefits include a 24-hour Jeju Dealcar usage pass, discounts on facilities at Jeju Utop Ubless Hotel, and a 40% discount on Jeju snap photography.
