[Breaking] 'Dizziness and Cold Sweat'... First Report of Allergic Reaction Symptoms to US Moderna Vaccine

[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Ju-hyung] It has been confirmed that a doctor who received the COVID-19 vaccine from the U.S. pharmaceutical company Moderna experienced a severe allergic reaction.

Major foreign media reported on the 25th that Dr. Hosein Sarzadeh, an oncologist at Boston Medical Center in the U.S., received the Moderna vaccine on the 24th (local time) and experienced allergic symptoms such as dizziness a few minutes after vaccination.

This is the first reported case of an allergic side effect among Moderna vaccine recipients.

A Moderna spokesperson stated, "The safety medical team will investigate this case."
