Cases 1009 to 1013 and 1017 to 1020 are linked to Gwangju Cheongsa Church. Since case 959 was confirmed the previous day, a total of 23 people have tested positive in connection with the church.
As a result of a full investigation of 190 people by health authorities, 23 tested positive, 157 tested negative, and 10 are awaiting test results.
Cases 1014 and 1015 were confirmed to have had contact with case 418 from Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul (Nam-gu G3 Center), who is known to be a pastor. The total number of confirmed cases related to Nam-gu G3 Center has increased to 13.
Case 1007 is a contact of case 993, whose infection route has not yet been identified, and case 1008 tested positive in a pre-release test while under self-quarantine after arriving from Indonesia.
Meanwhile, in Gwangju, the number of confirmed cases has recorded double digits for seven consecutive days, starting with 14 cases on the 19th, 13 on the 20th, 26 on the 21st, 36 on the 22nd, 15 on the 23rd, 36 on the 24th, and 28 on the 25th.
