Indent Corporation · Class101 Host 'Online Year-End Parties'
Sikgwon Daejang Bendis Supports Clients with 'Online Dinner Expenses'
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] As social distancing measures have been strengthened due to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), the startup industry is favoring year-end parties where employees wrap up the year remotely from home instead of gathering in one place.
Indent Corporation, which operates the AI-based video review service 'VReview,' held an untact year-end party called 'It's Indenter's Night' as external activities and gatherings became restricted due to the spread of COVID-19. The event was a virtual party attended by all employees, conducted via the video conferencing program 'Zoom,' and was planned to follow the actual offline year-end party schedule from the opening ceremony to employee participation events, awards ceremony, and closing remarks. Various online employee participation games such as rolling papers to encourage communication among team members, quizzes, and lucky draw raffles were also held. Winners of the games received delivery platform gift certificates useful for working from home.
Online class platform Class101 prepared a virtual year-end party to replace the weekly town hall meetings. Usually, town hall meetings include introductions of new employees, sharing of success and failure cases and insights, and announcements of overall notices, but this time, with the added significance of the year-end party, it was composed of online awards presenting prizes to members active in various fields.
Vendys, which operates the corporate mobile meal voucher 'Sikgwon Daejang,' supported client companies with 'virtual dining expenses' using Baemin (Baedal Minjok) coupons. An event was held over the past two weeks for managers of companies that introduced Sikgwon Daejang, and 30 winning client companies were each given Baemin coupons worth approximately 100,000 KRW. This supported client company employees to have year-end parties with delivery food from their own homes.
