Cosmax Obtains Patent for New Microbial Culture Extract

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jihwan] Cosmax announced on the 22nd that it has acquired a patent for the extract of the Starphylococcus simulans ST-9 strain culture fluid and its related skin condition improvement.

The company explained, "The strain according to the invention can improve skin aging by increasing the expression of collagen genes reduced by ultraviolet rays."

It also emphasized, "It can be usefully applied for the prevention, improvement, treatment of skin-related conditions or inflammation-related conditions, and strengthening of the skin barrier."
