[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Eun-young] Rapper Lee Young-ji's phone case, 'Najagi Ma,' which she personally designed and created, has gained tremendous popularity, surpassing 100 million won in sales.

On the 18th, Lee Young-ji posted a photo of the phone case she made herself on her Instagram story, saying, "Are you going to buy this? If we're going to sell it anyway, let's donate. I will donate all the proceeds. Only those who want to buy, buy it."

The phone case designed by Lee Young-ji carries a message encouraging social distancing and minimizing outings due to the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

On the back of the case, cute phrases like "If you say don't go out, don't go out," and "Can't you just not go out if I say don't go out?" are placed intermittently along with characters drawn by Lee Young-ji herself.

As fans who sympathized with the purpose responded positively, Lee Young-ji began full-scale sales of the phone case, reporting over 1,000 sales within 15 minutes.

The case's orders surged within an hour of sales, achieving revenue worth 36 million won, and on the 18th alone, it recorded sales of a whopping 98,298,000 won.

Lee Young-ji expressed her surprise, saying, "Sales hit 100 million won. This fast? Everyone, please stop now. This is enough. If you order this much, delivery will be delayed."

She continued, "It's good that everyone is buying a lot with warm hearts, but since you bought much more than I expected, unless you want to receive delivery a year later, please stop now," humorously discouraging further purchases.

She added, "The donation amount has been sufficiently collected," and joked, "If you meet this phone case on the street, I will definitely sign it. No matter what I'm doing, I will do it," attracting attention.

Meanwhile, Lee Young-ji's phone case will be on sale until the 20th.
