[Asia Economy Reporter Park Ji-hwan] Yoon Hee-seok, spokesperson for the People Power Party, was notified of a positive test for the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) on the 19th.
It is known that Yoon visited a public health center for testing after receiving news from an acquaintance he met on the 17th that there was a possibility of a COVID-19 infection.
He had been self-isolating since then and was informed of the positive test result by health authorities around 6 p.m.
Currently, the People Power Party is investigating the scope of contact with spokesperson Yoon within the party.
Yoon was appointed as the spokesperson for the People Power Party on September 10.
