The couple got married last January. According to photos on Obenov's Instagram, which has now been set to private, her husband looks much younger than his actual age and has a tall and robust physique.
The Swiss police arrested and detained Obenov this week and are investigating her on charges of assault leading to death.
People who know her said, "When she gets angry, she is not ashamed to confront (fight) anyone, regardless of gender, outside the ring."
According to Swiss media Blick, Obenov was arrested and detained for several hours in October 2016 for hitting a man's face who tried to grope her buttocks during her 30th birthday party at a nightclub in London, UK.
Meanwhile, Obenov was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and during her childhood, she was active as a soccer and Olympic gymnastics athlete and also represented the national gymnastics team. She switched to boxing at the age of 18, and after retiring from professional boxing, she worked in the Swiss food industry before opening her own boxing gym.
