Orion Launches 'Chal Choco Pie An Cream'

[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-sun] Orion announced on the 8th that it has launched a new product, 'Chal Choco Pie Angcream.'

Chal Choco Pie Angcream features angcream made by combining red bean paste and soft fresh cream, along with a chewy rice cake texture. The marshmallow inside is filled with angcream and coated on the outside with 'red bean chocolate,' made from milk chocolate and red bean powder.

The company explained, "Inspired by the growing popular appeal of desserts using the traditional Korean ingredient 'pat' (red bean) with a pleasantly sweet taste, we reinterpreted the traditional dessert 'tteok' (rice cake) and the Western dessert 'bread' by combining them with red bean in the Chal Choco Pie."
