[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bong-ju] A social networking service (SNS) account presumed to belong to Shin Dong-su (19) of the professional baseball team Samsung Lions has caused a stir for containing content mocking fellow players, baseball fans, and people with disabilities.

On the 4th, a post titled 'Derogatory Remarks about Coach Shin Dong-su' was uploaded on the DC Inside Samsung Lions Gallery.

The private SNS posts of Shin Dong-su, uploaded by an anonymous user, included a screenshot of a messenger conversation with coach Park Jae-hyun along with content mocking him.

The anonymous user also posted private posts of Shin Dong-su titled 'Derogatory Remarks about Shin Dong-su's Fans,' 'Derogatory Remarks about Other Teams' Players, Teams, and Managers by Shin Dong-su,' and 'Derogatory Remarks about Seoul Women, Kim Yeosa, People with Disabilities, and High School Seniors (Go-3) by Shin Dong-su.'

The account owner posted a photo of catcher Park Dong-won of the Kiwoom Heroes, who was acquitted of sexual assault allegations, with the caption "Power of a Rapist," referred to Samsung Lions player Kwon Oh-jun as "pee," and called NC Dinos pitcher Lee Jae-hak "Dding Jae-hak."

There were also remarks such as "A person with a disability got on in front of me. I have a phobia of people with disabilities," and "Gosam (high school senior), which is better for the body than wild ginseng."

He also filmed fans after signing autographs and said, "They got excited because I signed for them."

The account has since been deleted. It has not yet been confirmed whether the account owner is actually Shin Dong-su.

However, the content included training schedules, a high school diploma, and selfies, leading to the presumption that it is Shin Dong-su's account. A notice from the KBO about not submitting a COVID-19 self-checklist was also posted under the name "Shin Dong-su."

The Samsung team stated regarding this matter, "We are verifying the facts accurately," and added, "Once verification is complete, appropriate measures will be taken."
