Girl group BLACKPINK will hold an online concert on YouTube. Their agency YG Entertainment announced on the 3rd that they will broadcast 'YG Palm Stage - 2020 BLACKPINK: THE SHOW' as a paid live stream on the 27th. 'YG Palm Stage' is a live stream concert brand newly launched by YG Entertainment and YouTube Music. The concert video will be streamed on YouTube.

BLACKPINK has 53.9 million YouTube subscribers, the second highest among artists worldwide. Lyor Cohen, Global Head of YouTube Music, said, "BLACKPINK is the top artist worldwide," adding, "This concert will be a great way for BLACKPINK and fans around the world to wrap up and celebrate the year."

This concert comes after a year and five months since their world tour in twenty-three cities last year. During that time, their influence in the global music market has grown even stronger. Starting with the collaboration track 'Sour Candy' with pop star Lady Gaga this year, songs like 'How You Like That' and 'Ice Cream' have ranked high on the US Billboard main singles chart 'Hot 100.' Their first full-length album 'THE ALBUM' also reached number two on the Billboard main album chart 'Billboard 200.'
