[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] Gyeongnam Pharmaceutical announced on the 1st that it has launched a new product, ‘Gyeol Collagen & Mucin,’ which combines low-molecular fish collagen with snail ‘mucin.’
‘Gyeol Collagen & Mucin’ is the premium line of Gyeongnam Pharmaceutical’s collagen brand ‘Gyeol Collagen.’ Along with the launch, a new advertisement featuring the Gyeol Collagen model, actress Han Sohee, will also be aired.
‘Gyeol Collagen & Mucin’ is made with premium ingredients including low-molecular fish collagen from Italy, snail extract powder from France, and vitamin C from the UK. Additionally, it contains eight carefully selected sub-ingredients beneficial for skin health, such as vitamins B2, B6, biotin, hyaluronic acid, milk ceramide, and elastin.
In a refreshing blueberry-flavored stick powder form, it is delicious and convenient to consume anytime and anywhere. One stick per day provides 1,200mg of low-molecular fish collagen, 50mg of mucin, and 120mg of vitamin C, which helps collagen synthesis.
Notably, it uses French ‘Snail Extract Powder’ made by collecting mucus from natural snails (Helix pomatia species).
Mucin is one of the substances found in our body, providing viscosity to mucus secreted by human organs. It is also present in snails, eels, lotus roots, and yams. Mucin is known to help repair damaged skin, provide moisturizing functions, promote cell regeneration, stimulate collagen production, and prevent the decline of skin elasticity, making it a next-generation inner beauty ingredient recently gaining attention.
A Gyeongnam Pharmaceutical official stated, “Mucin is one of the skin’s structural components that, like collagen, gradually diminishes with age, so it is good to take mucin together with collagen consistently. We hope ‘Gyeol Collagen & Mucin,’ which builds a foundation with low-molecular collagen and adds refinement with mucin, will help you gain confidence in your skin through daily Gyeol care.”
‘Gyeol Collagen & Mucin’ will be sold mainly through home shopping channels and offline stores in major department stores, starting with a launch broadcast on Lotte Home Shopping on the 9th of this month, as well as through the official online mall ‘Lemona Friends Mall.’
