Damyang-gun Recruiting Participants for the 2021 Senior Job Project

[Damyang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yukbong] Jeonnam Damyang-gun (Governor Choi Hyung-sik) announced on the 27th that it is recruiting participants for the 2021 Senior Job and Social Activity Support Project to provide social participation opportunities and income support for local seniors.

The number of recruits and eligibility by type of senior job are 1,100 for public interest type (basic pension recipients), 24 for market type (those aged 60 or older suitable for business characteristics), and 70 for social service type (those aged 65 or older suitable for business characteristics), and selection is made according to the selection criteria table.

Among these, the social service type project is excluded from this recruitment and will be separately recruited at the county senior welfare center according to the schedule of the Ministry of Health and Welfare later.

Applications can be submitted from the 1st to the 11th of next month by bringing an ID card such as a resident registration card to the eup/myeon office or the project implementing agency.

However, recipients of livelihood benefits, workplace health insurance subscribers, long-term care grade assessors (grades 1 to 5, cognitive support grade), and those participating in two or more projects promoted by government ministries and local governments are not eligible to participate.

A county official said, “Even in the situation where the economy has contracted due to COVID-19, the employment will of seniors is increasing day by day,” and added, “We will continue to work with implementing agencies to enrich the lives of seniors through various senior job projects in the future.”
