[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] The Korea Federation of Medium-sized Enterprises announced on the 27th that it will jointly hold the 'Medium-sized Enterprises Business Restructuring and New Business Network Forum' online on the 1st of next month with the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy.
This forum was organized to establish a public-private cooperation network to support the smooth business restructuring and new business entry of medium-sized enterprises and to seek effective support measures.
Nine participating organizations, including the Korea Federation of Medium-sized Enterprises, the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology, the Korea Digital Health Industry Association, the Korea Bio Association, the Korea Industrial Intelligence Association, Kim & Chang Law Firm, Samjong KPMG, and Korea Growth Finance, plan to build a practical support system covering the entire process of business restructuring and new business entry based on their specialized expertise in each field.
To prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), the forum will be held online in a non-face-to-face manner and will be broadcast live on the Medium-sized Enterprises Federation's YouTube channel. The forum will consist of guidance on business restructuring and business conversion support systems and sharing of success cases, expert lectures on efficient business restructuring and new business promotion strategies, and presentations by German startups to discover global collaboration partners.
