GS Construction to Open Cyber Model House for 'Jungsan Xi' in Gyeongsan, Gyeongbuk on 27th

[Asia Economy Reporter Donghyun Choi] GS Construction announced that ‘Jungsan Xi,’ the first Xi apartments to be introduced in Gyeongsan, Gyeongbuk, will open a cyber model house on the 27th and begin full-scale sales.

Jungsan Xi will consist of a total of 11 buildings and 1,453 households, with 1,144 households in 8 buildings in Complex 1 and 309 households in 3 buildings in Complex 2. Complex 1 will be composed of 74㎡ (exclusive area), 84㎡, and 117㎡ units, while Complex 2 will have 96㎡ and 117㎡ units.

The model house will operate only online to prevent the spread of COVID-19. The cyber model house will be available through the official Jungsan Xi website, where visitors can view model units and option details. Additionally, a live broadcast of the model house will be held at 12 PM on the same day via the YouTube channel ‘Xi TV.’

Jungsan-dong, where Jungsan Xi is located, borders Daegu’s Suseong-gu, allowing residents to enjoy the same infrastructure as Suseong-gu, making it a highly preferred residential area. As the first Xi brand apartment in Gyeongsan, the GS Construction brand premium is expected to attract significant interest from buyers.

The complex offers a double living zone within a 1 km radius, including the Suseong living zone with Sawol Station, Uksucheon Stream, and Sinmae Park, as well as the Jungsan living zone with Jungsan Lake Park, E-Mart, and Seongamsan Mountain. Sawol Station on Daegu Subway Line 2 is within walking distance, and the complex is adjacent to Dalgubeol-daero, which runs through Daegu, allowing quick access to downtown Daegu.

There is also abundant living infrastructure. E-Mart (Gyeongsan branch) is located right in front of the complex, and the Penta Hills central commercial area and Siji-dong commercial area in Suseong-gu are nearby for convenient use. Additionally, along Dalgubeol-daero, various cultural and educational facilities such as Suseong-gu academies, Daegu Stadium, Daegu Samsung Lions Park, and Daegu Art Museum are located.

The pleasant residential environment is another advantage. Jungsan Lake Park is close to the complex, allowing residents to enjoy walks and various leisure activities at the lake park. Uksucheon Stream and Seongamsan Mountain are also nearby, providing a comfortable natural environment. Gyeongsan City has high expectations for value appreciation due to its rich future vision. The city is driving regional value with four core future visions: Gyeongsan 4 General Industrial Complex, Gyeongsan Knowledge Industry District, Gyeongsan Premium Outlet (planned for 2023), and the Carbon Convergence Industry Cluster (MOU signed), indicating great potential for future development.

Jungsan Xi is designed with a south-facing layout preferred by buyers to secure sunlight rights, and all units are designed as 4-bay or 5-bay plate-type layouts without tower-type structures for added comfort. Dress rooms and pantries will also be provided in all units.

Another point attracting buyers is that Gyeongsan City, where Jungsan Xi is located, is a non-regulated area. Since Gyeongsan is not classified as a metropolitan city, there is no resale restriction period, and anyone aged 19 or older who has been subscribed to the housing subscription savings for more than six months can apply for the subscription regardless of household headship, household members, or homeownership.

On the 19th, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport added Daegu’s Suseong-gu as a regulated area, subjecting it to both speculative overheating zone and regulated area restrictions. As a result, a balloon effect has occurred toward Gyeongsan City, which shares the Suseong-gu living zone but is free from regulations, heightening interest in Jungsan Xi.

The sales schedule starts with special supply on December 7, followed by the first priority subscription on December 8. The announcement of winners will be on December 15 for Complex 1 and December 16 for Complex 2. The official contract signing will take place at the model house from December 28 to 31 for Complex 1 and from December 29 to 31 for Complex 2. Since the announcement dates differ for the two complexes, simultaneous subscription for both complexes is possible.

A sales official said, “Jungsan Xi is the first Xi apartment in Gyeongsan, a highly preferred residential area in Gyeongbuk, attracting interest not only from residents but also from outsiders. With all elements for price appreciation such as future vision in place, it is expected that both actual buyers and investors will flock, resulting in high subscription competition.”

The Jungsan Xi model house is located at 20, Dalgubeol-daero 661-gil, Suseong-gu, Daegu, and the move-in is scheduled for November 2023.
