Now in its 19th year, the K-ICT Information Security Awards annually select and honor exemplary companies and individuals in information security to promote awareness and encourage autonomous information security practices.
Spoon Radio received the highest score among participating companies in the evaluation and was awarded the Grand Prize, the Minister of Science and ICT Award. Spoon Radio has actively invested in information security technologies and was recognized for its efforts through this event. In May, Spoon Radio obtained the ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO/IEC 27701 certifications, which are international standards for information security. The company also established an information security group by recruiting Dr. Shin Dong-hyuk, an information security expert with experience at online companies and startups such as Naver, Coupang, and Daily Hotel, focusing on strengthening platform security.
