Small Business Management Diagnosis and Mentoring 'Preview Video' Gains Popularity

1:1 Connection with Successful CEOs, 160,000 Views for 2-Minute Small Business Growth Introduction Video

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jonghwa] A 'preview video' that leads small business owners to success through management diagnosis and mentoring is gaining great popularity.

On the 27th, the Ministry of SMEs and Startups announced that a 2-minute preview video, which connects small business owners who have their own unique strengths but lack experience and expertise with successful CEOs one-on-one and documents their growth process, has surpassed 160,000 views (as of the 27th).

With the main broadcast scheduled for the 14th of next month, a total of 20 preview videos are planned to be uploaded on YouTube and Naver TV, and currently, 7 videos are available on the Ministry's YouTube channel.

The preview videos are structured to show problem diagnosis and improvements in two parts, upper and lower, featuring a total of 10 stores. In one episode, Bongpyeong's 'Bada Hoetjip', 'Nadri Jjolmyeon' CEO Jeong Heeyoon, who was selected as a Hundred-Year Store by the Ministry in 2018, appears as a mentor to support promotional marketing, environmental improvements, and new menu development.

'Mellow Waltz' is a popular restaurant admired even by Master Chef Park Junwoo, but the store layout hinders product recognition, prompting the urgent deployment of a product display expert. Notably, in episode 4, comedian and former actor Go Myunghwan (CEO of Memilkkot-i Pieosseumnida) appears to share his management know-how and methods for expanding online sales channels.

The mentoring video production of the 'profit-sharing type business' newly introduced by the Ministry this year is receiving much attention as it suggests growth and new change response strategies for small business owners in the same or similar industries who could not participate in the project, allowing more small business owners to benchmark.

Meanwhile, the main broadcast will be aired nationwide from the 14th of next month through 'Small Business Broadcasting (yestv)', the only domestic channel specializing in small business owners and traditional markets, showcasing the improvement and transformation process of small business owners with the help of successful CEOs and experts.

Shin Jaekyung, Director of Smart Small Business Development at the Ministry, said, "In the current situation where small business owners are facing difficulties, we are doing our best to ensure that the profit-sharing type business can provide a more stable growth foundation through innovation."
