[Asia Economy Reporter Baek Kyunghwan] On Friday the 27th, the sky will be mostly cloudy nationwide but will clear up from the afternoon. However, cold air will descend from the northwest starting in the daytime, causing temperatures to drop.

Rain that began on the northern east coast of Gangwon will expand to the Yeongdong region of Gangwon in the afternoon. There may also be occasional raindrops on the northern east coast of Gyeongbuk at night. From the afternoon, 1 to 5 cm of snow will fall in the mountainous areas of Gangwon, and around 1 cm of snow is expected in the mountainous areas of Jeju Island.

It will become chilly from the daytime. Morning low temperatures are forecasted to be between -3 and 9 degrees Celsius, and daytime highs between 6 and 14 degrees Celsius. As cold air moves southward from the northwest starting in the daytime, the central region will experience daytime temperatures below 10 degrees Celsius.

Fine dust levels will be bad in the Seoul metropolitan area, Chungcheong Province, and Daegu, while other regions will see levels ranging from good to moderate.

Additionally, very strong winds may cause wind warnings to be issued along the west coast and Jeju Island. On the east coast, high waves caused by swells may overflow rocky shores or breakwaters in some areas.
