[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Sharon] The Changwon Volunteer Organizations Council in Gyeongnam held the '2020 Love Kimchi Sharing' event on the 26th at the Meeting Square of Changwon Sports Park.

About 30 members of the Changwon Volunteer Organizations Council and employees of the Joeunday Sharing Foundation participated in the event.

There was a donation ceremony from Choi Jae-ho, chairman of Muhak Co., Ltd.

1,300 boxes of kimchi (8 kg per box) will be delivered to low-income households and welfare facilities to support a warm winter.

The Joeunday Sharing Foundation sponsors the Love Kimchi Making event every year, and this year also supported 8 million won for kimchi ingredients, participating in various social contribution activities for marginalized neighbors.

Chairman Choi said, "Due to COVID-19, the economy is more difficult, and many families find even the cost of making kimchi burdensome. I hope the kimchi delivered today will help low-income families get through the winter even a little."

An Ik-tae, head of the Social Welfare Division, said, "We thank the Joeunday Sharing Foundation for sponsoring the kimchi sharing event every year despite the economic downturn," and added, "The Love Kimchi Sharing event will continue to be promoted, and we hope the culture of neighborly love and sharing will spread so that more households can receive support."
