[Asia Economy Reporter Wondara] Kim Tae-nyeon, the floor leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, announced on the 26th that he would push for the revision of the High-ranking Officials' Crime Investigation Office (PCC) establishment law.

At the policy coordination meeting held at the National Assembly that morning, Floor Leader Kim said, "The PCC chief recommendation committee failed to make a recommendation again yesterday. The opposition party paralyzed the meeting with veto power," adding, "We will not tolerate such legislative obstruction."

He emphasized, "The Democratic Party has been persuading for over four months regarding the PCC launch deadline, but the People Power Party has completely rejected it, showing only factional politics and veto-ocracy," and stated, "The Democratic Party has no choice but to push for the revision bill centered on the Judiciary Committee. We will definitely launch the PCC."

However, unlike the previous day, he did not mention the state audit on Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol. Regarding the disciplinary action against Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol, Floor Leader Kim said, "The prosecution's surveillance is clearly illegal," and urged, "We need to reflect on the prosecution's internal insensitivity. We call for the prosecution's self-reflection and introspection."

Regarding Wang Yi, the Chinese Foreign Minister's visit to Korea, he said, "This is a very important matter for us," and added, "China is a key axis of multilateral cooperation. The diplomatic and security lines need to make new arrangements to respond."

Concerning Korea-US relations, he said, "The Biden administration has entered the transition process," and urged, "We must strive to bring forward the spring of peace on the Korean Peninsula."
