Yunho Yoonho Donates 50,000 Masks to Hometown Gwangju

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] Gwangju Metropolitan City announced on the 25th that Yunho Yunho of the group ‘Dong Bang Shin Ki’ donated 50,000 masks to help his hometown struggling with COVID-19.

Accordingly, Gwangju delivered the donated masks to the Gwangju Social Welfare Council so that workers at local social welfare facilities and vulnerable groups can live safely from COVID-19.

Yunho Yunho expressed his gratitude, saying, “I am thankful that Gwangju City has created a street commemorating K-pop stars from Gwangju,” and conveyed his intention to donate masks to help his hometown Gwangju in return, even if only a little.

Lee Young-dong, Director of the City Tourism Promotion Division, said, “We are truly grateful for the active participation of local stars in the project and their donations for the local community.”

Meanwhile, Gwangju City has been promoting the ‘K-pop Star Street,’ themed around K-pop stars from Gwangju, in the back alley behind the old Student Hall in Chungjang-ro since early this year to attract K-pop fans from around the world to Gwangju, and it is scheduled to open next month.
