The Community Contribution Recognition System is jointly organized by the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Korea National Council on Social Welfare, and it is a system that discovers companies and public institutions that have formed partnerships with local nonprofit organizations and have consistently carried out social contribution activities, recognizing their contributions within the community.
Kised, approved through the review by city and provincial social welfare councils and social contribution experts, received high evaluations for its efforts to spread the realization of social value. In particular, by establishing a strategic cooperation system with related organizations within the region, it achieved a social value creation effect of 4.5414 trillion won last year through social contribution activities and startup support.
Kim Kwang-hyun, President of Kised, said, "Based on this recognition as an approved institution, we will further expand social contribution activities for regional coexistence and cooperation, and lead the spread of social value realization through active institution management based on social responsibility as a public institution."
