[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Young-eun] Professor Seo Min of Dankook University mentioned former Prosecutor Generals in relation to the suspension of Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol's duties, stating on the 25th, "If you remain silent, you are also accomplices."

On that day, Professor Seo asked on his Facebook, mentioning the names of former Prosecutor Generals Im Chae-jin, Kim Jun-gyu, Han Sang-dae, Chae Dong-wook, Kim Jin-tae, Kim Soo-nam, and Moon Moo-il, "Why are you staying silent?"

He pointed out, "You are among the few in our country who have served as Prosecutor General. A mad Minister of Justice named Chu Mi-ae is butchering the Prosecutor General and has committed the unprecedented atrocity of suspending his duties. Why are you saying nothing?"

He also criticized, "Even if opinions differ regarding Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol's actions, do you think it is right for the Prosecutor General to be treated like this garbage?"

Furthermore, Professor Seo said, "No matter how much you have displeased the regime, this is not acceptable. Please just say one word asking the president to make a decision, whether to dismiss him or take other measures. If you just remain silent, you are also accomplices in Prosecutor General Yoon's bullying (collective harassment)."

Earlier, on the 24th, Minister of Justice Chu Mi-ae held a press conference regarding various allegations against Prosecutor General Yoon, suspending him from his duties and requesting disciplinary action. In response, Prosecutor General Yoon stated that the measures are illegal and unjust and announced his intention to respond legally.
