Gyeongnam Bank Applies Preferential Interest Rates on Savings and Deposits for NC Dinos' First Championship in Baseball Love Campaign

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi]BNK Gyeongnam Bank announced on the 25th that the '2020 BNK Baseball Love Time Deposit' and '2020 BNK Baseball Love Installment Savings' sold earlier this year have secured high preferential interest rates thanks to NC Dinos' first-ever integrated championship win. The Baseball Love Time Deposit and Installment Savings are financial products that provide various preferential interest rates based on NC Dinos' performance in the 2020 season.

The Baseball Love Time Deposit added a 0.10% preferential interest rate for overcoming COVID-19, 0.10% for regular season championship, and 0.10% for postseason advancement to the existing confirmed preferential interest rate of 0.30%, plus an additional 0.10% preferential interest rate for winning the Korean Series. Additionally, among the subscribing customers (accounts), 1,000 accounts (500 each) will receive an extra 0.20% preferential interest rate because player Na Sung-bum ranked within the top 3 in the home run individual ranking and player Rucinski ranked within the top 3 in the wins individual ranking. With a base interest rate of 0.75% per annum and a maximum preferential interest rate of 0.80%, customers can expect a maximum annual interest rate of 1.55% (before tax).

The Baseball Love Installment Savings also received an additional 0.30% preferential interest rate for winning the Korean Series. Furthermore, among the subscribing customers (accounts), 1,000 accounts (500 each) will receive an additional 0.30% preferential interest rate as player Na Sung-bum and player Rucinski ranked within the top 3 in the home run individual ranking and wins individual ranking, respectively. Applying a maximum preferential interest rate of 1.70% on top of the base interest rate, customers can expect a maximum annual interest rate of 2.55% for a 1-year term, 2.65% for a 2-year term, and 2.75% for a 3-year term.
