Dongshin University Makerspace Project Team Holds 'Expert and Advisory Committee Workshop'

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Gwan-woo] The Makerspace Project Group at Dongshin University announced on the 25th that it held the '2020 Makerspace Energy Startup MEF (Makers Energy Farm) Expert and Advisory Committee Workshop' at the Creative Workshop on the 7th floor of the Dongshin University Energy Cluster located in Bitgaram-dong, Naju-si, Jeollanam-do.


At the workshop, more than 30 MEF experts and advisory committee members, including Im Dae-hwan, former Investment Attraction Cooperation Officer of Gwangju Metropolitan City, Heo Yong-ho, Director of the Green Energy Research Institute, as well as professors and company representatives, attended.


They discussed overall development plans and improvement measures for the Makerspace through presentations on ▲ secondary battery recycling technology ▲ dissemination of energy startup culture and startup promotion plans at the Makerspace specialized lab ▲ establishment of a platform to revitalize startups linked to secondary battery recycling.


Meanwhile, Dongshin University was selected in May by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups for this year's Makerspace specialized lab sector and is receiving about 7 billion KRW in support over five years to foster energy-utilizing makers.
