5 Additional COVID-19 Cases Confirmed in Daegu as of Midnight on the 25th

Among these confirmed cases is one participant from the Ulsan Janggu Competition, raising concerns that COVID-19 cases related to the Janggu competition may spread nationwide.
According to Daegu City on the 25th, as of midnight, the cumulative number of COVID-19 cases in the region increased by five from the previous day, totaling 7,223.
Among the additional confirmed cases, Mr. A, a resident of Dong-gu, attended the Ulsan Janggu Competition on the 20th and was classified as a subject for comprehensive testing, where he tested positive.
Mr. B and Ms. C, residents of Nam-gu and family members, have unknown infection routes. Mr. D from Buk-gu was classified as a contact of a resident confirmed positive on the 16th and showed symptoms during self-quarantine. Mr. E, a resident of Dalseo-gu, tested positive after experiencing fever symptoms, but his infection route is also unknown.
Meanwhile, among the attendees of the 'Gogo Janggu Test' held in Ulsan on the 20th, three confirmed cases were reported on both the 24th and 25th (as of midnight) in the Ulsan area. Gogo Janggu is a popular art form where participants play the janggu drum to popular songs. It is reported that at least 128 people from across the country attended the Gogo Janggu certification test on that day.
