In the weekly women's golf world rankings announced on the morning of the 24th (Korean time), she firmly held the 2nd place with 7.38 points. She showed a thrilling winning streak by winning the LPGA Tour Pelican Women's Championship (total prize money $1.5 million) held at Pelican Golf Club in Belleair, Florida, USA (par 70) by 3 strokes the day before. This is her second win of the season and 12th career victory, one month after winning her third major, the KPMG Women's Championship, on the 12th of last month.


The gap between Kim Se-young and world No. 1 Ko Jin-young (25, 7.79 points) narrowed from 1.03 points to 0.41 points. There were no changes in the top ranks with Nelly Korda 3rd (6.59 points), Danielle Kang (both USA) 4th (6.40 points), and Park In-bee (32, KB Financial Group) 5th (6.18 points). Other Korean players include Park Sung-hyun (27) 9th (4.99 points), Kim Hyo-joo (25, Lotte) 10th (4.90 points), Lee Jeong-eun 6 (24, Daebang Construction) 12th (4.03 points), Yoo So-yeon (30, Mediheal) 14th (3.62 points), and Yoo Hae-ran (19, SK Networks) 17th (3.35 points).
