Aekyung Industrial Completes Yongin Logistics Center Construction

[Asia Economy Reporter Yujin Cho] Lifestyle beauty company Aekyung Industrial announced on the 18th that it held a completion ceremony for the newly expanded 'Yongin Logistics Center' to strengthen its logistics delivery system.

The Aekyung Industrial Yongin Logistics Center was built with an investment of 11.4 billion KRW in Cheoin-gu, Yongin-si, with an expanded total floor area of 6,652㎡. Designed as an automated, ambient temperature warehouse, it increases storage capacity and establishes a system that can quickly respond to customer needs.

The Yongin Logistics Center will operate as a logistics service center dedicated to delivery in the metropolitan area, providing fast delivery and logistics services. In particular, it plans to continuously strengthen infrastructure and systems in preparation for the growth of the online market to improve service quality.

To this end, the Yongin Logistics Center increased product storage capacity threefold compared to before and introduced a new Warehouse Management System (WMS) designed to enable systematic logistics operations from product storage to shipment.

An Aekyung Industrial official said, “Aekyung Industrial will make every effort to provide sustainable and optimal logistics services by strengthening the infrastructure and systems of the Yongin Logistics Center in accordance with mid- to long-term sales growth and changes in distribution channels.”
