Girl Group 'STAYC' Debut: "Our Role Model is Girls' Generation" Rookie girl group STAYC is performing their new song at the debut single showcase held on the afternoon of the 12th at Yes24 Live Hall in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul.

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bong-ju] The rookie group STAYC, officially debuted in the music industry, named 'Girls' Generation' as their role model.


On the afternoon of the 12th, STAYC held their first debut single album "Star To A Young Culture" release commemorative online and offline showcase at Yes24 Live Hall in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul.


STAYC, created with the know-how of Black Eyed Pilseung, who produced hit songs for numerous girl groups such as TWICE, Apink, Chungha, and SISTAR, consists of six Korean members: Sumin, Sieun, Isa, Seeun, Yoon, and J.


On this day, Sumin said about her group, "Our distinct individuality and charm are our differentiating points," adding, "Each part can create various atmospheres and concepts, which is a great advantage that allows us to showcase our diverse charms."

When asked about their role model, Seeun responded on behalf of the group, "Girls' Generation is our role model," and added, "We want to be a team that makes music together for a long time and is loved."


STAYC's debut song "SO BAD" expresses the confident attitude of teenagers who openly express their feelings despite the awkward beginning of love.


Meanwhile, STAYC's debut single will be released at 6 p.m. on the same day through major music streaming sites.
