[Asia Economy Reporter Suyeon Woo] Kim Sang-beom, CEO of Encar.com, a used car trading platform, received the Presidential Citation at the '2020 Foreign Companies Day' ceremony hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy held on the 3rd at the Parnas Hotel in Seoul.
The '2020 Foreign Companies Day' event was held to encourage foreign-invested companies and related organizations that contributed to our economy through foreign investment attraction, such as job creation, and to award those who made significant contributions.
CEO Kim was recognized as the representative of a company with outstanding achievements in contributing to the national or regional economy and social development in the foreign-invested company category, receiving the Presidential Citation.

About 500 people attended the event, including global CEOs, visiting investors, representatives and executives of foreign-invested companies, foreign diplomatic envoys in Korea, foreign chambers of commerce, city and provincial government officials, and related organizations such as the Free Economic Zone Authority.
CEO Kim said, "Through efforts to innovate the automotive life of domestic consumers, about one million used cars are registered annually, and the number of online and mobile visitors exceeds 750,000 daily, making it the largest automotive trading platform in Korea. Taking this award as an opportunity, we will strive even harder to achieve continuous growth as a model company contributing to the national economy and social development."
