On the 1st, citizens enjoyed the autumn atmosphere while looking at the scenery from Gokjang Observatory on the northern trail of Bukaksan Mountain behind Cheongwadae in Jongno-gu, Seoul, which was opened for the first time in 52 years. The northern trail of Bukaksan Mountain, opened on this day, had been restricted since the 1968 Kim Shin-jo incident (January 21st Incident), but was developed into a walking trail, allowing the general public to explore it. This is the third security relaxation measure near Cheongwadae under the Moon Jae-in administration, following the opening of the road in front of Cheongwadae in 2017 and the opening of the Inwangsan trail in 2018. / Reporter Kim Hyun-min kimhyun81@
