But it is not a story from another world; it involves family members, acquaintances, and those related to cases. It is directly about you and your neighbors.”

On the same day, former floor leader Na said on Facebook, “The reality of the PCC, which I have spoken about countless times last year, is now approaching reality.”

Na said, “Looking at the world these days, it seems like it is becoming a place where even breathing and living is difficult. The power that has seized not only the judiciary and the legislature but also the media and civic groups is desperately trying to firmly grasp the prosecution as well.” She criticized, “The conscience and courage of ‘coming-out’ prosecutors will be completely crushed and eliminated once the PCC is established. They are probably determined to do so. They believe that cases like Lime and Optimus can be covered up as long as the PCC is created.”

Na recalled, “Seeing Professor Seo-min’s Facebook post addressed to former Minister Cho Kuk suddenly reminded me of the ‘birth tourism’ attacks surrounding my son last year.” She explained, “One day, a place called Richmond Postpartum Care Center, which I had never heard of before, suddenly appeared on real-time search rankings along with my name, and false information began to be systematically spread on certain ideological communities. Riding on this, responsible major media outlets tagged articles with ‘birth tourism suspicion’ and even the ruling party issued official statements, joining this witch hunt.”

Na said, “During the last general election, external forces even followed me to my constituency campaign sites, shouting about my son’s nationality. Parents with children holding dual citizenship are openly serving as ministers. It was so absurd and embarrassing, a slander that tormented me even after I stepped down as floor leader.” She emphasized, “Birth tourism? Dual citizenship? I am not someone who lives like that.”
