Challenging 2030 Busan, 'World Expo' Logo Design Contest

From November 2 to November 30, Nationwide... 7 Works Selected, Total Prize Money 5.3 Million KRW

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Busan City and the 2030 Busan World Expo Citizen Committee are holding the ‘2030 Busan World Expo Logo Mark Design Contest.’

The contest is open to the entire nation to promote the atmosphere for hosting the 2030 World Expo in Busan and to secure promotional content. The contest period is from November 2 to November 30, and teams of up to four people can participate.

The contest themes include ▲the core values of the Expo (education, innovation, cooperation) ▲global issues ▲creative designs with a future-oriented meaning.

Applicants can download the application form from the Busan City or 2030 Busan World Expo Citizen Committee websites and submit it along with a printed copy of their work to the committee. For detailed information about the contest, please refer to the announcement on the website.

Busan City will select a total of seven winning works through judging in December, awarding 3 million KRW to one grand prize winner, 1 million KRW to one gold prize winner, 500,000 KRW each to two silver prize winners, and 100,000 KRW each to three bronze prize winners.

The winning works of this contest will be used for various promotional materials to support the bid for the 2030 World Expo.
