SMAC Unveils Integrated Endpoint Security Product at International Cybersecurity Conference

In the New Normal Era, Integrated Endpoint Security Product ‘Cybereason Defense Platform’ Exhibition

[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] Smac announced on the 29th that it will participate in the International Cyber Security Conference (ISEC2020) and introduce Cybereason's integrated endpoint security product (Cybereason Defense Platform).

The event will be held for two days from today until the 30th at COEX in Samseong-dong, Seoul. Smac has been participating in ISEC annually to raise awareness in the security business sector and strengthen communication with customers.

Especially this year, it will unveil solutions that align with the theme of 'Post-Pandemic Security.' Smac will present practical security guidelines for the non-face-to-face work environment triggered by COVID-19 by utilizing Cybereason's integrated endpoint security product. Various solution application methods will be introduced, including securing enterprise-wide security visibility integrating EDR (End-Point Detection & Response), NGAV (Next Generation Anti-Virus), and mobile.

Cybereason's integrated endpoint security product continuously expands its scope of use by adding recent EDR functions for mobile devices to its existing EDR, NGAV, and TI (Threat Intelligence) features. In the early stages of entering the domestic market, it supplied only EDR-exclusive products mainly to large corporations, but recently, it has succeeded in diversifying the market by supplying integrated EDR and NGAV products targeting small and medium-sized enterprises.

A Smac official stated, "In a situation where a COVID-19 vaccine has not been developed, blocking the risk of spread through tracking the movements of infected and potential subjects is the most important method to sustain the economic ecosystem," and emphasized the role and importance of EDR by saying, "Cybereason EDR provides IT ecosystem safety through history tracking, spread prevention, and isolation functions aimed at endpoint protection."
