[Asia Economy Reporter Noo Rae] ○… Lee So-mi (21, SBI Savings Bank) has risen to 42nd in the world rankings.


In the weekly women's golf world rankings announced on the morning of the 27th (Korean time), she earned 2.34 points, jumping 15 places from 57th last week. On the final day of the KLPGA Tour Huen Care Women's Open (total prize money 800 million won), held on the 25th at South Links Golf Course in Yeongam, Jeonnam (par 72, 6420 yards), she recorded 4 under par to achieve a thrilling come-from-behind victory and accumulated points. This was her first win in her 42nd tournament since joining the KLPGA Tour last year.


There were no changes in the top ranks such as Ko Jin-young (25) 1st (7.97 points), Kim Sei-young (27, Mirae Asset) 2nd (6.87 points), and Nelly Korda (USA) 3rd (6.59 points). South Korea's Park In-bee (32, KB Financial Group) ranked 5th (6.18 points), Park Sung-hyun (27) 8th (5.23 points), Kim Hyo-joo (25, Lotte) 10th (4.81 points), Lee Jeong-eun 6 (24, Daebang Construction) 12th (4.28 points), and Yoo So-yeon (30, Mediheal) 14th (3.66 points). Ally McDonald (USA), the Drive On Championship champ, jumped 18 places to 44th (2.32 points).
