Muan-gun Conducts Volunteer Activities of Love with Military Units

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Seo Young-seo] Muan County, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim San) announced on the 26th that on the 22nd, the 2nd Battalion of the Army's 8332nd Unit visited vulnerable households in Hyeonggyeong-myeon to carry out volunteer activities of love.

On that day, about 10 volunteer soldiers from the military unit collected garbage left unattended at the homes of vulnerable households and cleaned inside the houses.

One soldier who participated in the volunteer work said, "Although it was physically demanding, I feel proud to see the clean house," and added, "I will continue to participate in volunteer activities to help neighbors in need."

An official from Muan County stated, "By linking local public and private resources, we will provide customized welfare services to socially marginalized groups in need of assistance and enhance the satisfaction of county residents."
