[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Seo Young-seo] On the 26th, Jeonnam Sinan-gun announced that County Governor Park Woo-ryang participated in the "Thank You Essential Workers" campaign on the 22nd to support essential workers who must work face-to-face despite the COVID-19 situation.

While moving by the administrative ship (No. 1004) for an on-site visit to the island area, Governor Park, who received a nomination from Mokpo Mayor Kim Jong-sik, gladly joined the campaign with a joyful heart.

This campaign is being carried out to express gratitude and support to workers who provide essential face-to-face services in fields such as care, delivery, medical, and transportation services despite the spread of the COVID-19 infectious disease.

Governor Park Woo-ryang said, "During this frustrating and difficult time due to COVID-19, I feel even more concerned when I think of the essential workers who are working on-site to maintain the safety and daily lives of the people," and added, "I hope that many people will take this opportunity to express their gratitude to all essential workers."

Meanwhile, Governor Park Woo-ryang nominated Goheung County Governor Song Gwi-geun and Wando County Governor Shin Woo-cheol as the next participants.
