KB Kookmin Bank Hosts Online Job Fair for Outstanding Companies

Held through the KB Good Job site and mobile app, a job information provision platform

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi] KB Kookmin Bank announced on the 26th that it will hold the ‘2020 2nd KB Good Job Excellent Companies Online Job Fair’ for two weeks from November 2 to 13 through the KB Good Job site and mobile app, a job information platform.

The 2nd KB Good Job Online Job Fair expanded participation not only from excellent companies recommended by KB Kookmin Bank based on networking with partner organizations, KB Good Job’s greatest strength, but also from large company affiliates and KOSDAQ-listed companies. As of the 16th, about 410 companies applied to participate, and the final participation was confirmed with about 330 companies, successfully closing recruitment.

KB Kookmin Bank plans to actively support companies in resolving manpower shortages by providing various financial benefits to participating companies. When companies participating in the KB Good Job job fair apply for new loans at KB Kookmin Bank, they will receive preferential interest rates within a maximum range of 1.3%p through the ‘KB Good Job Interest Rate Preferential Program,’ and companies that hire regular employees through the KB Good Job job fair will receive a ‘KB Good Job Hiring Support Fund’ of 1 million KRW per person (up to 10 million KRW per company), providing support to reduce financial costs and labor expenses for small and medium-sized enterprises.

Also, due to the nature of the online job fair, job seekers from all over the country can participate, and it will offer richer employment support content and events than the job fair held in the first half of the year. To improve job seekers’ employment rates, it will provide industry-specific hiring trends, video job lectures, and employment consulting, and introduce a video interview system to support the entire employment process from preparation to interview in a one-stop manner.

A KB Kookmin Bank official said, “Since this job fair is held online, various companies from not only Seoul and the metropolitan area but also regional areas will participate,” and added, “We expect the KB Good Job online job fair to serve as a catalyst to revitalize the job market, which has been depressed due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.”
